Honda Brio AT launched on 18th October

Honda have finally launched the Brio AT on the 18th of October. The additional cost over the corresponding MT version is 75,000 The variants are S(o) and V at an ex-showroom price (Kanpur) of 578,000 and 603,000. Delhi is about 4,000 lower. This car has a rated consumption of 16.5kpl and one canexpect about 11-12kpl in town.

Earlier discussion can be found on
Now more substance to the Brio Diesel AT rumours : SCOOP Pictures on Pg 7 - Page 11
where both the Diesel and the AT were discussed.

I expect this car (with a City Derived 5-speed AT, with no paddles) to make a serious dent on the market currently ruled by the i10, i20 and the Dzire eCS with the AStar further down.

I too expect this car to garner good sales with the only option in this segment being the i10... Do keep us updated on your car delivery

Good move by Honda... There is definitely a market there for small hatch with AT

So apart from the AT part has anything else been changed?

It is history being replaced by the i10 Kappa with the same AT unit.

I booked mine last week, and conformed yesterday. It is the V AT in Urban Titanium with accessories including reversing sensors, illuminated sills, various rubber guards, etc. Expected on 29th October.

Yesterday we had a very short TD of the top end Brio AT. We were offered a brand new vehicle which had run only 8 kms, it feels slightly sluggish initially but picks up well later on, I felt the braking was very good as compared to a santro AT, the vehicle is very stable even while taking curves at 100kmph. The rear seat legroom was surprisingly better than swift. The on road price of the top end Brio AT in Bangalore is about Rs. 7,22,000/-, my colleague's brother has booked one and getting the delivery on Monday.

I beg to disagree. But then variety is the spice of life. Tell me one decent car in the budget segment which is not a 3-potter and does not have 3+1AT! I am surprised since I am paying under 7 on the road, for a V AT with about 30k of add ons. Must be confiscatory taxation in KA but that will be across the board.
