      accident happened

To day we were returning from our posting in Thikad hospital.Usual dull set up.I was sleepy and my eyes were only half opened. The bus was doing not more than 45km/hr.On approcoching the Azhicode curve.I saw a bike coming fast toward us in the corner.
The guys were at goods speed in a curve ,skidded and the bike slided under the back tire of our college bus,the bus ran over it.The driver was speechless and stuck, the rest were screaming.I turn my head to see the worst nightmare but i see the guy was sitting in the road with his leg stretched and his friend(pillion rider)is trying to lift himself up. He and his friend escaped from certain death.
The pillion only has a minor scratch in his hand. The rider may have a dislocated shoulder cannot confirm though his hand does not look in the normal alignment .He looked ok but cannot stand up straight, shivering and was carried to the hospital
Funny thing is no helmet, no riding gear and nothing.....sheer luck

we do have a lot of Rossi's racing on the streets here in india, the problem is that they do not wear a basic safety equipment called the Helmet...anyways thank god that both of them escaped alive.

Morons never learn. Driving without adequate gear and doing stunts on bikes which are not capable of it. A couple of months later when he is alright, bet on him again doing it

Agree with KRRaj these morons will not learn any lessons from their mistakes.

I guess their guardian angels were working overtime to ensure their safety.

What happened to the bike after the bus ran over it ? Total loss?

These 2 wheelers are never careful. Many of them get injured badly, or die as well. Seen quite a few tragic scenes on the highways and in the city as well.

The visor has no major damage but the rest is
But cannot confirm weather it is a total loss or not.It looked in really bad shape. The bike was dragged on to side by the police. The back wheel does not moved an inch. The silencer is 5 feet far from the bike, the and the center region of the bike assumed a new posture. We are more focused on the guys who fell. The crowd has gathered and you all know what happens when a big vehicle hits a small vehicle. We are explaining the situation fast to the gathering crowd with the help of some local witnesses.
Over confidence in any vehicle is a major problem.
