Ok Guys here you go for the changes that are present in the Launched Maruti Ritz Facelift,

Maruti is all set back to hit the Indian market after the ruckus caused at the Manesar factory, and to mark a new beginning the company has launched the long due and awaited Maruti Suzuki Ritz Diesel refreshed version. The facelift of the Maruti Ritz Diesel was launched at a price of Rs. 5.31 lakh today at Mumbai. The company also introduced the all new top-end ZDi version at Rs. 6.23 Lakh.

The high-point of the new Ritz is the 10% improvement in fuel efficiency which has resulted to an efficiency of 23.2kmpl (Certified fuel efficiency as per CMVR Rule 115) from a 21.1kmpl. In total, there will be 52 changes which includes new front design, dual tone interiors, multi-information display on instrument panel, body moldings etc. The three new colors- Mystique Red, Granite Grey and Breeze Blue have been added to the prevailing colors- Superior White, Silky Silver and Bakers Chocolate.

The interiors will see an improved rear seating with improved lumbar support, new red dual color scheme which are exclusive to mid and higher variants. The ZDi has been introduced with air-bags, alloy wheels and also steering audio controls.

The new Ritz diesel is also be powered by the celebrated 1248cc DDiS engine which is capable to delivering a torque of 190Nm at 2000rpm and a power of 73.9bhp at 4000rpm. The powertrain comes with 5-step multi-injection technology for smooth running. Talking during the introduction, Manohar Bhat, Vice President (Marketing) Maruti Suzuki India said that it the new Ritz is more fuel efficient with enhanced driving comforts. He also added that Maruti was pleased and it was heartening to see a fairly young brand crossing 2 Lakh sales mark in just 37 months.

The facelift seems cosmetic and has done much to enhance any thing on this car. The price has increased as well dropping the VFM quotient this car was having. We just dropped Ritz out of our list for my dad after the price hike. At 6.6L on road with no features/offers and comparing with a Figo Titanium, Ritz VDI is not a good buy.

      RITZ AT launching soon

Maruti Suzuki have launched the automatic version of the petrol Ritz. As A-Star is the only small automatic car available in the stable, this is a
good move. The Maruti Suzuki Ritz AT is powered by the famed 1.2-litre, K-Series petrol engine boasting 84 BHP of power and 113 Nm of torque. The gearbox is a 4–speed unit used currently in the DZire. The official fuel efficiency rating for the automatic Ritz is 17.16 km/l (slightly more than the Honda Brio automatic). The Ritz AT will probably be priced around Rs. 6 lakhs.
