      OOhhhhhh ICE'd

Lvramanan Anwar (my installer)gave a quote of 3K for enclosure and installation.

I have auditioned the Gladen 12" which was installed in a i10 and i did like it but havent got a chance to audition the HAT .

N00b question would a 10" suffice my truck?

I guess you need a 12" because of the huge cabin size in XUV. I would leave the gurus Mi10, karanbhatia to answer.

I'd say get a 10" HAT I106W or Infinity Kappa 120.9w or DD 512 or anything else that can be used in ported. Will give you a more fuller bass response and will be easier to get the bass upfront

A well made ported enclosure that follows the specs will give you the tight ( possibly tighter) , fast and a much fuller bass output than sealed. All the woofers mentioned above can be used in a ported box easily and won't require too much power and will be right at home with your Boston Acoustics amplifier.

sealed works fine too ... rather less room for error and easier to fabricate and smaller as well.

I am partial to made to spec ported enclosures and ported setups hence the suggestion

Also because you will have much more output than the sealed and a fuller low end as well that really adds to the SQ. Ported does not always have to be SPL

I believe in Verito he has the GM sub. There should be people in Bangalore who are using HAT. Check through our GH folks or zoso02 Mi10 should be in a position to assist.

Update : Praveen is not running the HAT sub in verito / fiesta. It was a confusion from both sides . An audition of the sub is promised by him.

Any members here running the Kappa 120.9W / Gladen RS12 " ? , if yes please PM me.

You can also try to look for Rainbow's newly launched subs, i have had auditioned Rainbow SLC 12" sub in a sealed box and it was really good for the price, bass was tight and loud, music i auditioned was EDM and Trance.I would recommend this Rainbow SLC subwoofer for Electronic and Trance music rather then Gladen RS12 diffrence i found between both are not much but i found Gladen hitting hard but not fast enough for EDM or Trance and Rainbow pounded decently n fast, if incase you often listen to Rap n Hiphop then go with Gladen.
