Tyres for my Ikon 1.6 Zxi

Hi everyone. I have alloy wheels in my car.. Tyre size is 175 65 R 14. I Need to change my tyres.I have narrowed in down between Bridgestone Potenza G3 and Turanza ER 60.Please suggest me which one to buy.
My mechanic told me, "I couldn't repair your brakes, so I made your horn louder."

      Hi,

From whatever I have heard from owners, Potenza G3 is great on Grip, Comfort but does not last long.

Turanza ER-60 last longer than Potenza but gives a Harsher ride and less grip compared to it.

I've used both. Potenza is still one of my fav tires.
The info you have seems off in some respects.
Potenzas give good grip. But have very poor ride. Last long.
      Pretty puncture resistant.

Turanzas are great for comfort and low tire noise. Last well. Grip is average. But the tires are predictable. There is no sudden loss of grip while cornering.

Turanza is good allround. Potenza is too rough and too noisy for all except dedicated fanboys like me.

A Drives are worth looking at.
Acceleres have also been getting good reviews.

This is only my opinion, and what i get from friends.
You should wait for nikhil to come by. He'll know more.

If you want all out performance, advan neovas AD07 are the last word.

Among the two I would say get the GIIIs. They last long, have decent grip levels for a tyre that has been selling for ages now.

The problem with G3s is that they are directional tyres. So during tyre rotation the tyres have to removed from rims and fitted correctly according to position.Any probs with acelere. They say that they are silent , grip is good and mileage is pefect.

Get the Aceleres. Better tyres and a better company as well. At least you arent feeding a company bent on looting Indian consumers.
