Peculiar Problem of Headache on extended listening

      Hi Guys,

Vehicle Fiat GP 90 HP Sports,
ICE MODs:- Front JPL GTO 608 components,
      Rear Hertz Coaxials
      OEM HU + Cerwin Vega 600.4 Amp + Rockford Forsegate ( Details Here :- http://gearheads.in/showthread.php?1...er-10-K-budget )

The sound is great, Except I start getting headache after extended listening ( Say 60 Minutes of Music ), Earlier when I had Ford Figo OEM HU and Speaker Setup, I could listen for Hours without fatigue ( Sometimes 8 Hours of continuous music ), But this after an hour or so, I feel like switching it off.

I don't listen to Music very loud as such ( Around 10/12 Volume in Figo and 14/15 in Punto ), Can some one explain what could be the reason for this, and What are the options for me.

Dude isn't that pretty loud ? I keep it at 6-7 and that IMHO is good enough to keep out most of the outside noise in my figo.

Turn the high frequencies down a bit and see if it helps in reducing the problem.

Mr. Babbanji Franklin, you should come in some of our vehicles. Either mine / matbhuvi's / Mi10's. We will keep not less than 50% of the volume on the HU

      Same here brighter side.

Mostly if the highs are too strong one gets an headache. On the equaliser set flat and then reduce the high frequency a bit. Set LPF to exactly 80hz.
Also set the front speakers more than rear. The correct way of listening is from front. Many drive with rears playing louder than front.

Try setting these right and see if it makes a differnce.

Oh yes, It sounds a bit bright , I thought it was the HU issue, There were so many good reviews on these ( GTO ) , I went ahead and bought them, By the way, What would you recommend for a laid back sound with a decent bass ?.

Equalizer is Flat for sure ( And LOUD is in OFF Position ), Will reduce the Highs a bit and see if it works out any better.

This setting ( LPF ) is on the HU or in Cerwin Vega Amp?, Could you please clarify.

Now I know the easy way to identify your vehicle on the road . By the way, Did you ever need to use the Horn ?. I am sure that would sound feeble .

Any suggestions on , 1) Should I consider changing my stock HU to Clarion with BT and selling off Cervin amp as well as Sub and Retain the speaker setup ( GTO and Hertz ) ?
      2) If I need a laid back sound with decent amount of Bass , What is the best set of speakers you recommend ( Coaxials/Comps )?

I never had a chance to hear my car's own honk / any other honk outside
