      Fordfan quite a welcome.
I have been in this detailing business since 1996. It has been a long trip. Made quite few millionaires in these years but now the road ahead is to take detailing to another level. Last 4 years have been pure research. With the platform of internet, information is quite easily available, but converting it to performance in Indian conditions is the difficult part. Every manufacturer has a market. My goal is to make detailing easy to do. The only step between this is to treat the vehicle for its various parts with long lasting protection. Waxes were followed up by paint sealants. Now there are technologies which are at least 10 years ahead of what is presently being used in India. We focus too much on the final product, where as we should first try and get a perfect finish and then seal it up (with whatever we have a budget for). 90% of the finish depends on this preparation, chemical used, equipment, etc.
The person from Modesta Japan has been working and developing products with the same view as ours. People, dealerships take the customer for granted as they know people do not know the standard of detailing when purchasing a car.
This may be a soft start but as we go along please let me know if you have any queries about products, equipment, etc. I shall keep on giving my inputs. Fortunately with all this experience and even with training sessions abroad I can guide people to better detailing. For those who want to make money from this passion I would suggest a training session in Mumbai.
Once again thank you for the warm welcome.

Thanks a lot TPC3. We're passionate DIY guys who love our car & with expert inputs from fordfan, we've started learning a lot more on detailing. Honestly to a person like me, a year ago, if you or some had told a word 'detailing', I would have been blinking & definitely have no knowledge on what's that. Would be great if you can guide enthusiast DIY people like us as well !

We are glad to have you here TPC3. It will also help if you let us know what you do? Where? What services you offer, both commercially as well as a freelancer? just everything that would help us 'know' you better than fordfan's great but vague post #1 on this thread.

Welcome aboard Rajesh Sir. Have heard a lot about you over the years! It's really heartening to see you here amongst us

A friend had shared a photo of a Black Baleno you had worked on a long long time ago! And that is the day I realized that even our cars could be made to look that way.

Would be really awesome if you could share some pics of your work for the rest to admire.
