When we did the in gear acceleration testing in 3rd & 4th Gear, car took ages to reach 80/100 Km/hr as we were throttling from below the turbo spool range.
Does the remap make any difference to that?
What about the turbo spool range - It spools at 1600 RPM or before that?

And by neatly, I mean you can feel the surge all the way upto 140kmph! Getting to 160kmph shouldn't be a worry for this car, unlike a stock car that takes quite a while to get there and feels quite out of breath.
This is interesting. 140 to 160 Km/hr needs some effort but looks like with the remap it's an easy task.
Also, good to hear that it takes less time to hit 140Km/hr from 120Km/hr mark. Useful on Highway overtaking scenarios. Though I never felt the lag. A tap on the A pedal does the task for me.

I had this wish & browsed a lot & found few with angel eyes and all. Didn't go for it as it will void warranty.
mclaren1885, How about the light throw with projectors when compared to my stock ones?

That would be mechanically impossible! A turbo needs X amount of exhaust gases to spool. Only when that is achieved can it spin the turbines! Yes, you can get the turbo to spin a wee bit earlier with a remap. But that wouldn't be too different from stock in terms of difference. Once the turbo is spooling, you'll get way more torque than before with a remap.

Couldn't measure as Torque doesn't read boost on Fords as usual!

Trust me! Once you drive a remapped car, you'll feel the stock car quite slow in this range specially. A stock Figo doesn't do 140 with just a tap! You have to gun it.

New VBOX coming soon! So the weekend after this maybe! This weekend no meets owing to elections.

Spread was decent! Throw wasn't too far. Maybe because it's a single projector casing. A twin projector would have been awesome. I somehow prefer 4300K HIDs to 6000K. But Kumar Sir's car does look unique!

2yrs old car run just 24000, a nice set of alloys, those lovely AD-07s (damn, brings back old memories of my chewing gums ) and a car that still looks like it's come just out of the showroom!

Spread used to be a main concern on high beam. It used to disperse everywhere. Would love to see how it does with projectors.

6000K isn't more? It may not do good in fog or rain, right?
