      Exclamation Fiat Linea Mods

Now that Linea is almost a year on the road, its time to think about the modifications that people have attempted with or without success and mod kits that are available in the market. The key ones to start with are

      1. Rear Sensors
      2. Up modules (windows roll up automatically when car is locked)
      3. HID kit with Projectors
      4. Dashboard mods
      5. Engine mods
      6. Any other mods.

People please pour in your experiences and know how and based on which I would compile a list of mods possible and who can do it.

Scandal swami,i have no experience on the mods on the linea but my 3 cents

rear sensore, any accesories shop wala will do this easily.

windows going up when locked, they just fit a relay ,costs some 500bucks again any shop wala will do this no issues.

HID kit again same as above ,no knowledge about projectors.

Engine mods ,petes box, race dynamics ECU,performance airfilter etc.

Linea is a darling ,looks a million bucks, get good multispoke alloys, dark tints, keep the car sparkling clean ,that is self is too much, too atractive.

Sachin, I guess Frank has addressed the visual mods.

Now coming to the engine mods, I would say wait for a couple of months. CPH is coming out with some induction kits and remaps for the Fiats from the UK. Will be worth the wait and to sum it up, your car will be put on a dyno to show the end result before and after mods.

And it goes without saying, kindly upgrade your rubber to something better.

Btw, what is your budget for all the above?

      my two cents.

if car is under warranty then tuning box.

if car is not under warranty - its reasonable to think of a remap provided you have long term plans with it.

List of things I need on my Linea

      1. Carputer
      2. Reverse camera(if carputer is there, then just the camera should be good enough)
      3. Projector lights
      4. Led cabin lights
      5. Spoiler
      6. side skirts
      7. Leather/Art leather seats
      8. Bigger tires
      9. ICE(I still have my amp and woofer with me taken from my indica. But not able to find someone who has the guts to fix this on the linea)
      10. Under the chassis lights for night driving

Have a bigger list.. will pen them down later...

Take it out before taking it to the service center and it won't void warranty.

Tuning box reviews are generally positive. Almost all owners swear by their box - but get a good one like Pete's. Have it fitted on your car and take a TD for 15-20 mins - buy it if you like it .
