Does body corrosion gets covered under extended warranty?
The doors of my car started rusting. I have the 3rd year extended warranty valid up to April 14.
This ain't no dead piece of metal. A car's a living, breathing thing, and she's alive. Feel it talking to you. Telling you what she wants, what she needs. All you gotta do is listen.

Check with the Service Center to know whether it's still covered under warranty for your car.

Read somewhere that it is covered up to 2 years i.e. factory warranty. You can do 2 things:
      1. Visit a FASS and ask them if it is covered.
      2. Shoot a mail to the Ford India customer care.

I will recommend taking as much warranty as the manufacturer offers! NO substitute to piece of mind!

And yes - rusting is covered. Hyundai replaced my uncles door for him. Initially they refused.... then wanted him to pay a discounted sum....all got solved when he wrote directly to Hyundai.

I am not sure of extended warranty. Even my car door got rusted 1.6 years old getting it repaired under warranty.
Hoping to get the car by tomorrow after the rust repair.

I too think it is worth it, considering the amount of niggles a car can show in it's 4th year of ownership and exorbitant prices of Ford's spares!
Can you share what all is covered in the said warranty scheme ?

      ironically a remapped tdi is
      faster than the next segment
      tdi at lesser price.

Why do people post I want the best for my car... When there isn't anything that is the best on the car to begin with.
