I thought Nano comes with Power steering too. My bad! Is it same across all models?

4 at rear? How is it possible. Is it kids and adult mixture?

Test drive vehicles will be usually top end variant model. If yours is not top end. Then you need to order and place it in yours.

Congrats on the buy. Check the user manual for the recomennded tyre pressure. For nano front wheel tyre pressure and the rear wheels pressures differs.

      @ all,
Presently Tata is providing a discount of Rs. 35,000 on 2012 Nano CX model, plus a Rs. 5000 corporate discount and Rs. 5000 if you own a two wheeler (just need to provide the RC copy of the two wheeler which is in your name). Reason on discount only on 2012 CX is due to overproduction.
Even i booked for a 2012 Nano CX papaya orange. Already own a VW Vento, a Hyundai Accent and a Zen, was looking for another smaller car and Test drove the Nano. Was literally surprised and liked it and at once booked for the same. Only i get the vehicle delivered will write a detailed review of the vehicle.

After reading your post, I could almost feel as I felt buying my first car way back in 2002. In our country buying a car first time is really a big thing, especially considering the car ownership is <4% of the population. Congratulations on (probably) the fourth or fifth big moment of your life after being born, getting your first salary, getting married, becoming a father and buying a car. Buying a car with hard earned money is really a great feeling.

Nano is a great car, probably some 20-25 years later, people might realize how it changed the paradigms of the car makers, sub system providers, western as well as far eastern thinkers, marketeers and of course consumer.

Enjoy your nano. Car is small, but pride, joy and contribution to your life is BIG.

      Thank you all.

A small update: Covered only 300 kms in from date of purchase.
I use this car only when more than 2 people have to travel.

Installed Carpets (1300 Rs) as the floor becomes dirty very often. Also monsoons have started in Chennai.

Left front wheel went flat. No punctures were identified. Not sure of the reason. Chaning tires only took less than 10 minutes however the jack was too tight to handle.

Car is really good and i am loving the turning radius compared to other hatchbacks. Not sure on mileage or how to calculate it in cars.

      Few queries:

The light about the front seat do not glow when the door is opened. It has options like ON-OFF-ON whereas in other cars, it would be like DOOR-ON-OFF.
Is in the same in all CX models. The manual says otherwise...

What is the cost of Alloy wheels. Not installing immediately. Just knowing the cost.
Will it come including the tires ?

What would be the cost of a good USB/MP3 Player with 2 Speakers. 2 car accessories showroom people told that speakers cannot be installed in front doors.

      Check this for calculating mileage.

Check with Tata people for music system. The Amphistream (2013 Nano has it) music system with CD,USB,Bluetooth is really good for the price. Doesn't look like an after market addon at all.

OEM alloy wheels for Manza costs 26K. I assume Nano ones might cost 15-20K. Not really sure.
