From where did Pulsar 150 came into picture? It's days are gone. Take Honda Trigger with dual discs. My personal favorite in 150 cc less than 1 lakh bike is Yamaha Fazer. Thats what I ride sometimes. Its having a class of its own. Now 200NS is the best option in that budget. You can also try Apache 180 ABS. It vibrates more, but packs a punch when required.

AMIT ALEX go with the first choice you made i.e. Pulser 200 NS. No other 150 cc bike will come close to it and there is no other 200 cc bike available in this price range. In my opinion, it should fulfill your mixed requirements. I do not think other 150cc bike can compete with 200NS speed on highway and handling in city. The only 150cc bike which is a better handler as compare to NS is Yamaha FZ. I would suggest you to stick to 200NS or else Duke200 and if budget is not a problem go for Duke 390

FZ-s is notorious for its mileage coz of the wider rear rubber, a friend of mine rides one and never gets more than 38 KMPL in HYD.

Around 40kmpl in Bangalore city. Highway add another 2-3 km per litre.

      @ Amit

for 150 cc bikes I would recommend to try Honda Unicorn and Suzuki GS150.

My preference will go to Suzuki as it is more comfortable than Unicorn, and I have seen that the quality with Unicorn has drastically come down since its inception in 2002.

Suzuki GS has one of the smoothest engine and extra bling with 6th gear which is an overdrive during long drives. Suspension and handling is far better than Pulsars and Heros, and has a class of its own.

It is sure an underdog. Don't go with my words and take a test drive of the bike and then take decision.

      Cheers !!!
