Tesla release it's patents and will not initiate patent lawsuits against anyone who, in good faith, wants to use their technology.

Knowledge of the public regarding electric cars is alarming,, they think they will get a electric car, equal are better than ICE cars in regard to price ,range etc by 2020. A 60+guy was telling me how he is holding his decision to buy a new dzire.

I said about kona as ,,you will get a i20 at the price of fortuner and he was shocked.

I have been looking at the Lithium iron phosphate battery(LiFePO4) for the car lately. The price has dropped to under half from just 2 years ago. You can also use half the size of the normal battery and it will be the only battery you buy for the next 20 years.
These batteries can be charged from empty to full in just 2 hours and keeps constant voltage until discharged.

I am interested in the graphene polymer tech to evolve and enter the automotive industry, will take time no doubt, but is the tech which paves the way forward.

"Scientists say that electric cars are responsible for more carbon dioxide emissions than diesel ones.

The study performed by the Munich Institute for Economic Research. The research takes into account the carbon dioxide emissions associated with battery production. The study also covers a relatively important role of coal in the energy sector. Electric vehicles emit 11 to 28% more emissions than diesel.

According to calculations, each of these Tesla Model 3 emits 156 to 180 grams of carbon dioxide per kilometer. This results strongly exceeds that of a Mercedes diesel-powered car"

The German study terrible results of CO2 emissions by electric cars

You won't know if it is paid research or not. This research has been done by an institute of economic research, and not by an institute of environment research.
