      Planning For a NEW CAR(Petrol)

Guys i am planning to buy a hatchback and we initially shortlisted 4 cars(Brio, figo, grand i10,Ritz)
I went and took a test drive for 3 of them(Brio,Ritz,Grandi10)
      My Budget is 6.5-6.8 Lac(PETROL)
I will be mostly driving on weekends.
My reviews on the above :-

1.Brio-Owning a Honda City i was very excited for this car as i expected the same level of refiness and ride quality from Bio as well
but Unfortunately the experience was nore than a nightmare. We went to WHITEFIELD HONDA to take a test drive last Sunday.
The Moment we entered it there was no one to address us and after 10 minutes one guy just saw us and shamelessly i had to ask him
"Bhai Khud hi features aur test drive le len yan koi hai"(Should i myself should check out all the fetures and take a test drive or someone will address us)
Then Finally after 10 minutes this lady comes up and starts with the features,I asked them for top model and they didnt have that in display.I asked then if i can take a test drive and she agreed. After filling the form we sat in the car and then comes the part which dissaponited me the most.
I am not a pro and hence i was just concentrating on 2 things(Noise,Ride Quality, seating position and other very basic features)Oh boy the noise in the cabin was like you could feel the wheels turning and even with the windows all up i could hear the noise. The Cabin felt small to me .The main dissapointment was the Noise in the cabin, the ride quality was Ok ,accelaration was decent.interiors were dirty though simple,i mean i overall didnt feel that i am riding a HONDA.Now it could be possible because i was driving a DEMO car which is used my anybody and everbody. Also the other reason was that prior to this TD i had taken the test drive for GRAND I10.
      Price Quoted was:-

2.Grand i10-I have one driven my cousins i10 and i was reaaly impressed with the interiors of the car and the handling and that too was like almost a year ago.The moment we entered the showroom(TRIDENT HYUNDAI) a lady came and made a note of my name and phone etc and asked which car are we looking for .We told her and in next 5 minutes a representative came and breifed us about the features of the SPORTZ model.I told him that i want to take a TD of the top model and in next 5 minutes we were in the car.
The interiors were really really good and you feel like that its a premium car. The moment you step on the pedal it really responds really well. The Noise levels are minimal with windows down and with windows up they are almost gone. The seating position is good. The speakers are like (Made in china stuff as the noise quality is not upto the mark. The Steering wheel has this leather cover which is not wrapped around with perfection.
The rear seats ware what suprised me the most. You have ample amount of space between your knees and the front seat.Overall i was really satisfied with the car as it gives you this feeling that its worth spending the hard earned money. Then we went off to check out the payment options and then we left
      Price Quoted was:-
      Top Model-6.5 LAC ON ROAD

3.Ritz-We entered the showroom and after like wandering for a minute or so someone addressed us and we staright away tld him that we are looking for RITZ PETROL(Top Model) but they didnt had that model on display, infact there was no ritz on display which was little surprising for me
I asked them for TD for RITZ and after 10-15 minutes finally we got the keys and there we go.
The first thing i noticed was that the steering and the Gear shift was really hard which i was not expecting.
The seating position was extremely good and you have a full view of the road ahead, the engine responds well as well as the AC.The car was well planted as i tried to speed up.I dont blame the car as it was a demo car and was mishandeled clearly.
Then we discussed about the price and we left
      Price Quoted was:-
Top Model-6.48 LAC ON ROAD(After discount of around 21k)

The reasom i didnt go for a test drive for FIGO is because of the Feul Economy in petrol

After this short series of TD i am drooling for GRAND I10
I need the members inputs so that i can decide which one to go for as this one will be the 1st car i ever own from my own hard earned money
Another dilema i have is that should i go for ASTA or SPORTS
The ASTA has following extra features(ABS,ALLOYS,REAR DEFOGGER,AIRBAGS)Difference in price is 80 k.
I am more inclined towards ASTA despite the 80 k expenditure but still i am in a dilema
I need your inputs and suggestions guys

Even i liked Grand i10 except for its name. It has got lovely interiors and i got impressed with rear ac vent and cooling glove box.

Get i10 top end if you are interested towards it. Apart from this Ritz/Swift is great car to buy. They both have proven the market and have wonderful engine.

Grand i10 is newer and topped charts in 10,000 bookings in one month of its launch. I am not telling about earlier i10.

Not sure about the price here in Blr

705000/- was the price in Cochin

      Insurance Free (Approx 20K)
      Exchange Bonus (20K)
Assured gift (If you forfeit the gift 10K will be given)

      So 50K in all

So it will come 6.5L OTR
That should be well within your budget then

Exchange Bonus is applicable IF you are exchanging your existing car I think.
Anyway I'd suggest to have a word with Ford.

Especially since you have the budget anyway getting a diesel within your budget would be an added bonus.
