he wants to downsize due to lack of options in his current alloys size . He feels if he downsizes he will have better options to choose from .
and Btw AWB while after market alloys dnt shatter or get damaged easily , thy are some times heavier than OE alloys .
and when we are talking about alloys they are parts of the car that are SUSPENDED . hence any addition in weight adds a lot of pressure on other moving parts. I suggest apart from choosing the correct size , you also weigh your OE alloys and compare with the weight of the ones you want to replace with. The Term is called UNSPRUNG weight . you cant add to much UNSPRUNG weight to moving parts.
