      Karcher K2.110 Initial review

Bought a Karcher K2.110 recently, after an average experience at a detailing store in Bangalore. Also bought the following genuine accessories, which were not part of the kit.

      • Foam Lance - 0.3 L
      • Vario Power Spray Lance
      • Water Filter

Total cost including accessories is 10k~11k. Washed both the cars yesterday and am quite happy with it. Waiting to get the specific hose adapters, used a simple jugaad yesterday to get it working.

Karcher is a bit pricey, but then German products are never cheap and reek quality.

I have couple of small videos that should give you an idea of the equipment.

Posting a short review here after I washed couple of our cars yesterday, feel free to ask me any questions.

Pardon the self shot video, was holding my phone in one hand and the spray gun in the the other.

I am happy with the product and would recommend it.

Here is a before and after pic of the wheel well which had accumulated dirt of over 2 months of running. It just saw one pass of spray from the Karcher!

Giving in some more details, I would update this thread as and when I use the product. This is an initial review of the product which I have used on 2 cars on one ocassion.

      • Comes with only 6 months warranty
      • Pricey when compared to Bosch/Skil, but then we are talking Germany and not China
      • Very minimalistic kit with the box, the Skil comes with a Vario Spray, Foam Lance, Water filter and a 5M pressure hose as part of the box, for the Karcher I purchased the same shelling extra money as follows: Vario Power Spray - 2.4K, Foam Lance - 1.2K, Water Filter - 1K, all genuine Karcher, plus the Karcher comes with a shorter pressure hose, 2M I think.
      • Karcher is less noisier than the Bosch/Skil
      • Air bubbles in the water supply disrupt the pressure by large

I plan to buy the Angled Spray lance in the future but it seems very pricey at the moment.

Feel free to ask me any queries.

+1 to that, also how much did the foam lance alone cost you ? Is something similar available for Skill as well ?

It costed around 1.2K, I had the impression that the Skil comes with a foam lance with the kit, doesn't it?

As of now I am using SONAX Gloss Shampoo, till I get my hands on a dedicated snow foam.

Any suggestions from you detailing experts will help.

Do they have a drain cleaner accessory. I have an old one and that is a life saver. My Kärcher was bought in 1990 and maybe I should pension it off.

It does come with one, but its a not true foam lance.

turbocharged , what is the stock lance they give with k2.110 (with the package)... i'm kinda confused.. different websites naming it differently...
i want this cleared so that i can plan what other extra lances i should be buying!!

and one more qstn... isn't vario lance when used under low pressure enough for foaming? i thought so...
what is additional advantage of foam nozzle?

n thanx for sharing the stuff !!
