why are you planning to sell Activa? any issues?

considering max travel of 25kms per day, personally i feel its the best you have at your disposal.

otherwise Activa holds good value in used market though can't comment on price you might get.

Bangalore roads have improved a lot . You cannot drive 100 mtrs without falling into a ditch.
Activa front shock absorbers are pathetic .

Combining these 2 , I think I am getting back and shoulder pain.
So thinking , if changing to a bike will increase the comfort of falling into ditches.

I completely get what you mean... Roads have gone real bad in recent past..
In that case you would want to look at vehicles with telescopic suspension. Tvs wego has it and also iirc Suzuki access if you're looking at scooters.

Otherwise bikes offer better ride quality in general over rough roads due to bigger wheels and telescopic suspension. And at that budget most 100cc bikes would be available which might serve well for city commute.

IMO you should be looking at the Honda Dream series. In terms of fuss free ownership i think these would score more marks. The same engine is used in the HERO Passion plus as well but IMO the Dream series bikes look better.

Bajaj also has the Discover series bikes in that price range. They feature 4-valve head and apparently are very peppy to ride and offer more performance. Consider test driving both

My friend has a Discover 100. It was good the first year and since then there are constant niggles and issues. Definitely not recommended. I would highly recommend a TVS Star City. Simple bike. I have used one for some time and would vouch for it. Haven't used the Honda Dream series. But knowing Honda, it should be good only. I am not a fan of Hero Motocorp because of their attitude. So will never recommend it to anyone. I would suggest you buy a Star City or Honda 100 cc whatever it is.

For your requirement, go for a splendor or Passion. Yes, the HH guys are not customer oriented, but these bikes can be serviced anywhere and spares are available widely.

And you may have to up your budget a bit. Prices have gone up these days.

Go for YBR 110. Better in all aspects than Dream Yuga/Splendor.

      Guys ,

Thinking of buying the new Thunderbird 350. Reviews say , that its very comfortable ,but its costs a whopping 1.5 lakhs. Not able to decide, if the spend will be worth.
