Any chance you can design a speaker adapter for duster to put in 6.5 inch speakers in the front without compromising Plastic integrity?.

Won't a spacer ring do the trick here ? Or a FB work will work cheaper I believe. Experts correct me if I'm wrong here.

Spacer ring will have to be screwed to the outer plastic in duster which will need to be drilled on the plastic.
Duster has a weird setup where you can only install 5.25 inch speakers. and going above will mean fixing it on external plastic or completely losing the integrity of the door plastic

before I saw this thread my idea was to raise the height of the speaker install base by 15 mm with wooden/metal spacer attached directly above the screw holes like this one

      http://diyaudiocart.com/Spacer-12mm-SS

and then install a spacer ring. screw the spacer directly into the door where the speaker is supposed to be screwed.

Then embed a threaded nut on the back of the spacer and pain it black then screw the speaker in place with bolts.

But If I could get all this in the form of a single plastic piece, It would save me a lot of time and reduce the chances of the install going wrong.

And once the design is ready, I would guess there will be a lot of people ready to purchase, as I have seen multiple queries on different forums regarding the same.

      Hi shiva..
Fabricating Apillar is not feasible.. Fiberglassing is the best option and cost effective.
