      Paint Gauge

      Hello

I Just Wanna Post A Review Of The Paint Gauge I Acquired Some Time Back From Keystone. It Is One Of The Best Products I Have Used In Detailing So Far.I Was In A Need Of One From A Very Long Time And When Few Months Back I Visited Keystone , They Were Using It And I Was Tempted To Buy One.

The Whole Kit Comes In A Nice Hard Plastic Case Which Includes

      1. Paint Gauge
      2. Usb Cable
      3. User Manual
      4. Software Cd
      5. Calibration / Sample Testers.

It Is A Must Have Tool For Every Detailer Out There To Get An Idea Of The Paint Thickness Before Deciding The Approach To Attack Paint . It Is So Easy To Use , Just Switch It ON And Put It On Metal. It Will Show You The Paint Thickness In Microns.

I Have Tested It Numerous Times And It Never Failed , And The Best Part Is The Price ,I Got It For 16k

Thank You Keystone For Another Wonderful Product , Looking Forward To Get Flex Soon From You

      Regards

      Jas

Notorious Please throw some light on the USB cable and software. Why are they required?

And, does it give you split measurements for primer, base coat and clear individually?

No , It Measures the thickness of the entire film build , meaning all primers, base coats, and clear coats that are sitting on top of Metal.

      Paint gauge

Thanks Notorious - Its nice to know that you are aspiring & proceeding up the detailing ladder. It not only helps you to understand the thickness levels of the paint youre working on, it also gives the confidence to the customer that you know what you are doing. It helps when you are faced with a heavily swirled car, need to know how much thickness you have to play with as well, resprays etc.

Its a reasonable investment in terms of money but adds a lot of value to the process.

      keerthi - awesome pic !!!
