      Skoda Octavia vRS-pristine condition-Gurgaon

Will have to move abroad, so, finally, will have to let go of the smashing VRS, in pristine condition, with original paint and done 49000 kms in all till date. The car has been looked after like a baby, with all the preventive maintenance being done/carried out from time to time.

Complete service record, including the owners manual, and the second remote key (which is brand new still) are available.

The tyres and the battery are new, both having been changed about 8000 kms back, in May-June, 2013. The brake pads have been changed as preventive maintenance measure at the same time. The stock brake pads, which have some meat left in them, are lying with me, if the prospective buyer so desires, I shall pass them on.

The car's front seats have frayed leather at 3 places, which can be mended or patched up if desired. I am presently driving as it is.

The ignition coils, have also been changed to new ones from Skoda about three months back.

Its a genuine single hand driven car. The suspension bushes, I think, need looking into, which I have not been able to get changed, due to paucity of time. Other than that, it needs just petrol, and a good person behind the wheel.

The car runs on fully synthetic oil, that has been changed at 40,000 kms mark.

The car has comprehensive insurance from HDFC ERGO, valid through July, 2014.

The car is a MH registered vehicle and is being used by me in Gurgaon, and can be inspected at Gurgaon.

I have had a few queries, but it is still with me.

It is damn cool, but at the same time running it 160 kms daily needs petrol, and it hurts paying the petrol bunk 3600 every five days.

He does not say what year model the car is. 50,000 km is way too early for a VAG car. VW cars from 2006 have no belt change intervals but advice inspection at every service. My 2002 model VW needs a belt change every 120,000 km or 5 years. The have gone away from the age of the belt now.

Sorry buddy, I did not post the year of manufacture.

THE CAR IS 2005 May registered. Registered in Mumbai, has comprehensive insurance, running through July, 2014.

The car is bone stock. No interference, except the ignition coil packs that have been changed. THe timing belt has been inspected and I am told that it is good. Fingers crossed though.
