      Improving thigh support in Ritz

Guys, I need some serious help. Considering I'm 6'2", I find the driver's seat lacking total thigh support. When I rest my feet on the floor, my thighs don't rest over the seat. Long legs you see. I simply ignored this aspect and apparently this has strained my ankles over time. Pulling the seat back helps the thighs rest over the seat but is straining my shoulders due to increased distance from steering wheel. I wish the seat had height adjustments so I tweak a proper driving position. I tried sitting over a pillow but I don't find it comfortable or safe either.

Can something be done to improve this situation? I'm OK to change the seat assembly but is it viable? What other cheaper and effective options do I have?

Master, please buy a bigger SUV. I am telling this for the past one year.

      Compare XUV500 Models: W6, W8 W8-AWD | SUV India - best option

Tata Safari Storme | Popular SUV Car in India | Luxury Car Brands - better if you live with Tata service

Check out this thread 4th & 5th images. You can extend the thigh support of the seats, but I am not sure the availability in India.

People in the family give me weird looks when I say my ankles hurt due to lack of thigh support. The intelligent fruits just don't get the importance of thigh support or the lack of it. All my applications for a better car have been turned down

      May be try this method.

Folks, this really works - and the previous posts noting the "flattening or tipping" as the seat is raised...I thought so too. I like the seat a bit higher as I'm just out of an RX SUV and like the view.

I installed almost 1/4" of washers, and after putting on about 100 miles since the mod, would like a bit more. The bolt seems to have about 1/2" travel screwing into the floor pan. You DEFINITELY want to have enough screw-depth into floor pan threads to hold the seat VERY securely...in case of an accident and the stress on the seat. I'm certain these bolts would be available in longer lengths at a hardware store or H/D & Lowes.

It's a very simple mod. Although I would expect if more than 1/4" of washers are used, the rear mounting bolts may need to be loosened a bit to allow enough angle of the seat frame to fit in the washers. So, all that's required are the washers and a socket set. Don't recall the hole diameter required for the bolts to fit thru the washers or the mm of the socket. An easy fix. Your butt will thank you for it.

And while I'm down in that area, I plan to either paint or cover the -ugly- black bracket with a color close to the carpeting.

Does Ritz has a Tilt Steering ? Can it be pulled out ?

If yes, Probably you can just push the seats back, have the steering pulled out - My Colleague is 6.1 and it works for him in his Polo.
