      Actibump speedbreaker.

The Swedes have come up with this system to lower speeds. The speed is monitored by radar and activates the Actibump if over the speed limit.

We have this in blr also the only difference is in the physical reminder, here we get a huge pothole before the speed breaker, and the speed breaker just doesn't break the speed it breaks backs and the vehicle as well.

In addition, we also have speed inspectors (in form of stray cattle or dogs), grazing the local dustbins.

Not only in Bangalore.Every Indian city has its own share of pot hole roads and crater roads along with cattle speed breakers.

Interesting system no doubt but here in India we have poor enforcement of laws and bad infrastructure to support the ever increasing vehicles. Once we get the basics corrected, this would come in handy but by then this would be a thing of the past.

      Guys,
It will be a super hit if implemented in India. Trust me accidents will reduce drastically. Let us say the active bumps will come into play if the speed is above 60 kmph. Then we have people crossing the roads at will. The only issue i foresee is the cost of implementing the same.

Presently we have speed breakers of varying sizes and shapes. We can regularize all of them through active bumps. Of course cost is the main factor.

Are yaar, I am damn sure this will be looted or all the system related to this will vanish within 1 day from the scene. This will never and ever work in India. You can see all the spare parts in the next shop where this was installed.

I can challenge and bet on this for sure.
