Looks good but a 1.1 ltr diesel engine for a sedan may be a bit underpowered. Its immediate competitors are much better equipped.

Great understanding of the market by Hyundai and wonderful pricing too. But here are the disadvantages,

      1. As every one knows a 3 Cyl 1.1 L Diesel mill is going to be short of breath with full load of passengers.

      2. The 1.2 L Kappa's mileage was very poor with an I10. Now if the same is fitted to a sedan, it is going to be a dreaded mileage for the sedan.

But you have to give it to the koreans for the comfort factor alone. I am never comfortable outside my I10 and in some cars which are two levels above it.

Car looks quite decent. The 1.1L diesel should be okay for city driving, not sure about highways though. Why can't they just have it as 'Accent'? The 'Accent' legacy could have continued.

May be they don't want people to think about the new car as an old model's continuation.
