      Guys, we seems to be forgetting to include Brio & Yeti also in whatever happen in the birth process of "Doblo". When I look at the front and back of Doblo, I get a feeling that Mr. Yeti and Ms. Brio got married and after few years "Doblo" came to earth. I know family members in India are very expert in finding whom does son/daughter look like which they say in North "Bacchaa kispe gya hai". It looks to me "front Yeti per gya hai and back Brio per"

      I feel, there is no need to ridicule some one's efforts to earn a livelihood.
      There are much worse looking vehicles being sold, bought and driven in India and everywhere else.

      I did a quick search on the meaning of the word Doblo, which means dual, double or more than one purpose. there are some statement which indicates that Doblo was a name of the currency coin in some earlier century Italy.

      I think it is a good move that FIAT is looking to expand the portfolio in India from just hatchback and sedan to a MUV. A volume analysis will get the findings that the MUV is one of the largest segment after small cars and sedans and hence a play in that segment is a necessary. India has automobile penetration of only 3% which is too low and there are millions of people out there, who are looking for a vehicle which will meet their stated and unstated needs of the work, family and travel.

      It is good for the vendors, factory guys, New Product Introduction (NPI) experts, product management, product marketers etc . It is good for the industry as this will throw in some competition, make people like HONDA price their products more in the affordable brackets, get some marketing Euros into the system, provide jobs for many of all the artisans (advertisement, marketeers, public relationships, dealers, sales advisors, finance guys, service advisors, service technicians, FIAT Fans, FIAT Bashers, Keyboard warriors, ON-line experts etc) further in the value chain between the factory and consumer.

      Good thing i like about FIAT is it never gives up on India market and keeps trying out different ways to connect with consumers and get a share of the market. A company needs only one success to transform.
