Risks Involved in High Speed Driving

Looking at speeds i am reading on this thread :

      Married guys with Family :
      1. Please make sure you have insurance in place
      2. keep someone outside family updated with your finance situation ( in case you travel with Family with such a high speed , if not keep your family informed )
      3. Register your will
      4. Make sure you have all investment done with Proper nomination ( stocks , flats ...)

      bachelor:

      1. if your parents depend on you , follow step 1-4
      2. if Nobody depends on you , ignore this ( but make sure not to dash guy with family )

Check term insurance plans from HDFC. They are offering some good ones. 50 lakh insurance in 8000 something for 35 year olds.
Why walk when you can run?

What about garland and framed portrait of you, I mean whoever is driving. Should it be kept in the car or left with someone back home?

left with someone back home...garland can be ordered later. or i think we should have that service too. a parcel service upon prior order.
Why do people post I want the best for my car... When there isn't anything that is the best on the car to begin with.

Whomsoever ventures into high speeds should readily keep a blank photo frame back home so that it minimizes the task of the family members to complete the formalities.

One piece of advice for all of you guys,

Whenever you wanna drive at high speed.

Make sure you are driving a safe car.

All other things mentioned in earlier posts I think are completely rubbish.

First keep yourselves and your car's occupants safe, by driving a safe car.

Doesn't matter at what speed you drive.

      Follow traffic rules,

In city never push your car too much.

On highway realize your limit and don't cross them.

Keep your car fit before trying to push.

I would also like to tell the moderators that a lot of off topic posts have been posted on this thread, please take appropriate step.

      Regards
      Vivek

I am sorry my friend but the intention of my post OR any one else posted after that was try to point out that the race to finish first and fast is not good.
It was not reply to your post OR to anybody's else post on forum.

My inetnsion is even if single person reads this and tries to drive within sensible speed , i will be happy.
community like gear head should act as true friend , it should warn drivers "danger ahead" ...

My comments Or comments followed after me may feel foolish but that will make perfect sense to widow and 1 month old daughter of person who was killed on Pune-Mumbai expressway just and just because of high speed - Leaving behind questions ranging from daughter's education to parents retirement
( I interacted with that family at bus stand ... )

Regarding safe car - My friend no car is safe at such a high speed , leave aside hatchback - even drivers die in Merc, Audi , Range over at those speeds.

I would rather request mods to close fastest-drive-yet thread.

I don't think by closing a thread or keeping posts moderated, we can change driving habits. It's upto each one of us. And what is a safe car?? Safe car is still a concept.
