But first, you could request a test drive from someone in your locality who owns a petrol Vento/Rapid, and check whether the feeling/issue that you are having is an isolated one off instance, or the same across all new Ventos.

I tried two Vento TSi, one polo petrol and one Vento MPFI already. The suspension is too soft for my liking. I liked it better on the Vento TDi, probably the extra weight of the engine keeps the car planted.

I wonder if changing struts alone will change the behavior. Some members in this thread have claimed that replacing the stock struts with aftermarket TRW struts have changed the suspension behavior. If that does the job then it will be far cheaper than anything else.

Isn't that what it is essentially about? When people talk about Bilstein B6, they are just changing the struts and still use the same stock springs.

BTW, how are all Polo Petrol/Polo TSi and Vento Petrol/Vento TSi people handling their suspension issues? It's not just my Vento, it is the same extremely soft setup on all these cars in India.

Then please go through he thread from the beginning. If something like TRW works out then you can buy all four structs in just four digit price.

I don't hear much complain about Polo, but have heard many people complaining about rear suspension of Vento being too soft and replacing the rear struts improved things for them. Read the reviews in the thread.

      Need your inputs, friends.

My rapid has had a suspension (front) replacement at 70,500 kms. The car has completed 112000 kms.

There is a peculiar noise when the car goes over speed breakers. It feels as though there is some sort of a lubrication issue.

What could it be? I was thinking about getting it overhauled again, but there is no bouncing on the front. I am wary of taking the car to the ASS or the FNG just for the reason that without proper diagnosis, they would pitch for a suspension overhaul.

      Lightbulb Need to change suspension

Hello friends, Need your help with the VW Polo suspension change.
Where can I get the suspension changed for VW Polo on Mumbai? Which brand is the best and what kind of setup is recommended? I think the ride quality has deteriorated quite a bit. The vehicle is 7+ yrs old with 55K on the odo.
Any kind of help is much appreciated.
      Pardon my lack of knowledge.
