Weird Noise (Chu-Chu) from rear Right side of the car

I m getting some chu-chu noise from rear right of the car but unable to locate from exactly where the sound is coming. Sometimes it looks from Boot, sometimes from Door but couldn't find exact problem. I reported the issue with FASS in last service & they did nothing & still problem was solved. Now it has arise again. Guide me in this matter

A lot more info is going to be required if we are to even get started ! Does it come when its stationary...or when moving, at what speed... does it increase with speed... you will have to give a lot more information. You can try and record the sound and put it up here.

End of the day, such sounds can be diagnosed only by someone physically with the car.

For starters - check your wheel wells and tyres for obstructions of any sorts (pick out the stones between the treads too!)

It starts at around speed of 30 & goes till 80 on regular delhi roads with only minor bumps on highways. Despite of driving on regular roads sounds comes. It constant & doesn't increase with speed. Will try to record the sound as clear as possible.

O.T: How did the SA react when you said chu-chu? I think he must have thought that you are speaking some Chinese.

Could be a lot of things.

Chu Chu generally is a loose platic noise. If its from the rear, check the parcel tray.

I've had noises in my car which have ranged from loose speakers, to seat hook dislodged, exhaust pipe nut loose...

Check if there are any loose stuff in your boot. Next try going over potholes at medium speeds and check where it is coming from.

OT: "Chu chu" reminds me of a very stupid tamil song.

Unable to record sound. In recording road noise & environment noise made that noise almost next none. It is hardly hearable in recording

Issue can be with many things, some of them can be - Suspension, rear seat locking, parcel tray not fixed properly, door not aligned, rubber beading left its place, any loose (little) bolt fixing seat with rails, any loose or misaligned plastic panel, etc. IMO.

I had similar sound from left side of dashboard and was fixed by inserting double sided tape between the dashboard and A-pillar trim panel.

Take it to FASS. They will take a test drive, insist for it. They are the best to do the necessary fix.
