Not always ABS kicks in when I press the pedal continously. At good speeds(110 +) , on emergency braking , ABS kicks in immediately. At least couple of times on each long drive. Yes as you told, vibrations will be felt more in pedal when ABS kicks in.
You can have it scanned with G scan for error code. Normally, I dont find any problem in your case unless ABS warning light glows (occasionally/on hard braking).

Completed 39500 kms(in 13 months). Will be giving for 5th service this week.
1.Planned to change rear bumper since it was rear ended with a scorpio. There is small dent. Also front windshield has a small crack which is now developing . Planned to change both using insurance.
      2. 2nd gear engagement is little harder(only while engaging from 1st).
      3. Will tell them to check the brake pads since it is running in stock but no braking issues.
      4. Feeling little more bumpy from rear suspension, so will ask them to check all the 4 suspensions.
      5.Strictly no to wheel balancing/decarbonization/AC disinfectant .
Lets see how much the bill comes. Still the oil burner runs butter smooth.
CRDI is gem of an engine. !
Is there anything particular I need to tell them for this service ? Adivse needed from fellowship GH's.

Went for Ooty Trip last weekend. (Me and my better half)
Bangalore To Ooty: Took route through Hosur-Krishnagiri-salem-Bhavani-Avinashi-Coimbatore-Ooty (had to visit Coimbatore , so took this route) roughly around 470 kms.
Fuel Eficiency was around 17.97(with A/C) (tankful and used app My Cars, Fuel Logapp. ) . Drive was breeze . On last 30 kms to Coimbatore , quite lot of speed breakers even on the NH flyovers. (ghat section from Coimbatore to ooty was not much fun to drive)
From Ooty to Bangalore - Took route via Ooty-Mudhumalai-Bandipur-Mysore-Mandya-Bangalore.
While climbing down the Ooty to Mudhumalai forest , it was excellent ghat section, very steep and 39 hair pin bends. Most of the time have to drive in 2nd gear (sometimes at 1st gear).
Roads were not good, rough patches/potholes while crossing mudhulamai and bhandipur with lot of speedbreakers. Ofcourse lot of traffic and speed breakers from Mysore.
      Fuel Efficiency was 18.61 Kms(with A/C).
Light steering was a boon to ghat driving. Didn't feel the horse loosing its power at all. Engine braking is very poor in diesel vehicles than petrol ones.

Usage has reduced for last couple of months. ODO reading 48400 kms. Covered 1300+ kms trip this weekend(Bangalore-Trichy-Chennai-Bangalore) . Drive was breeze in i20. Wiper seems to worn out in less than 18 months since it was that not effective. Any idea of good wipers from fell GH's?
Did wheel rotation/balancing outside A.S.S. Seems one of the alloys has been bent but they told it wont be a serious problem unless there will be good drop in air pressure. If so , have to get bent alloy fixed. They told there was no need of alignment as values didn't show them up with misaligned wheels.

Bosch Clear Advantage, best wipers in the country right now.

If the alloy is bent, then please have it replaced or repaired if the condition isn't too bad. Never run with a bent alloy!

      Nice report.

You definitely love driving your i20, don't you. 50k KM in 18 months is phenomenal.

I see that everytime you get your car services, you do wheel alignment and balancing. Is that recommended or you do it because you've high running.

I liked your idea of getting good FE. I am sure they are great tips. Specially the red-line idea is fantastic. Its very important to ensure that car redlines at least twice in the week to keep things exciting for it.

Congrats again. Do post some pic. They'll make this log more interesting.
