nagaraj15, really if you have very good negotiation skills, go with showroom. Record all they talk - in written.
Else, if you don't have time or want to dispose off the vehicle quickly - go with the showroom. One thing, never accept the first value they give - go to carwale - Check value of your car for FREE - CarWale check your valuation - don't hesitate to show a print out to them if required.

We had almost 10-15 talks - take some one who can talk seamlessly - preferably ladies

My iKon got in for 1.1L(excl. of exchng, bonus) - it was 2003 model.

Always, check outside - even different showrooms - they might offer better price. Better to do it yourself.

On Seat covers, I will get them done this weekend - will defn. post pics. jeewajee is "the place" - think nothing more

Sure thing - I will post most of my experience here - and master did teach this disciple of his a few beginners tricks. Aiming to build on them

Guys, need help here yet again - the dark topic of the first service..

Car has completed ~1300KMs and would be going in for the first free service this weekend. Per many the advise is to change the engine oil. The reason being the "stock" oil having many little metal pieces. Still many telling its definitely not required to change and just an overhead!!!

Please guide me on this!!! I called up the service center guys and they are very much telling its not required.

Sorry, I know this has been discussed many times, yet I never found a decisive answer.
