I did change the PCV valve. But, it is of no help.
I'm thinking of using Liqui Moly Oil Saver.
Did anyone use this? Very high rating by users in Amazon.

if the coolant color in coolant tank changed from red to with some other dark color then its worth to change Oil Seperator. Apart from this i dont see any reason, unless the engine age factor.
Recently i have put LM Ceratec with engine oil, i didn't found any sky difference
The current odo is 1.57L in my Linea. PCV/oil separator was changed at 1.54L, as per earlier advice.
I have started facing the engine oil consumption from 1.1L, as detailed in an earlier post. Quoted below for reference.
Consumption is increasing slowly. From last oil change (15W40), it has run about 3500 km and I had to add 1.2L of engine oil.
I'm thinking that I could gamble with Liqui Moly Oil saver, costing 2400 approx in Amazon, than opening the heads and cure the rings, for the time being (around Rs. 25000/- or more). I was trying to get any user feedback from India. Amazon.com user feedback is very positive on reducing oil consumption.
May be we should see more into the formula being used in oil, as 5W40 being fully synthetic definitely the oil consumption will be very less compared to 10W or 20W.
5W, 10W, 20W the number mostly goes with the cold startup. 5W always good in cold start ups, and its very rare to find 10W or 20W as fully synthetic.Hence i have kept oil change interval of 7K Kms with 10W40(semisynthetic).
