VCDS Tweaks - Polo GT 1.5 TDI (Facelift)

I bought a new Polo GT TDI in march

On Monday I received my genuine VCDS cable from Ross-Tech and I have been waiting to try out the tweaks in my car but had to wait since my 6 year old laptop didn't have a working battery! As i was awaiting my VCDS cable Gino loaned me his but couldn't try it out because of laptop problem. Bought the laptop battery from amazon.in and re-installed the OS and i was set!

This is what i did so far:
      1) Single door unlock - When you press unlock on the key fob only driver door is un locked. To unlock other doors press once again
      2) Prevent door unlock when key is taken out - Doors are locked (from outside) but people inside can unlock by puling the lever.
      3) Comfort wiping rear wiper - If reverse is engaged when front wipers are On reverse wiper also functions
      4) Tear wiping - Front wiper activates once again after a delay after wash and wipe cycle ends. This clears any drip on the windshield.
      5) Visual confirmation of lock/unlock disabled - This means no indicator flashing when its locked or unlocked.
      6) Speed sensitive wiping - Need to try it out. Increases wiper speed with vehicle speed and vice versa.
      7) Turn off fog lights with high beam ON - If the front fog light is ON it turns itself OFF when high beam is ON
      8) Emergency flashing brake lights - These lights flash when braked hard (need to check if working, said to work from above 100kph)
      9) Emergency flashing turn signals - These lights flash when braked hard (need to check if working, said to work from above 100kph)
      10) Lane change indicator from 3 to 5 blinks
      11) Enabled display of volume of fuel to be replenished in MID
      12) Enabled display of instantaneous fuel consumption display in MID
      13) Changed clock to 24hr style
      14) Enabled needle sweep in the cluster

In the above ^^ video you can also see the volume of fuel to be replenished being displayed as 20 liters in the MID

Congrats.. I also have a cable and need to try it on VW Jetta.

      You can also try,

      1) Auto locking of doors after certain speed (i guess it is 10kmpl)
      2) Auto unlock of doors, once you remove the key

      Congrats Sankar.

I had tried a few of these on a Fabia and they worked like a charm. Didn't get a chance to play around with the Polo and the VCDS. The advantages of owning a VAG car.

You will get to play with a lot more control modules in the Jetta. Wish Polo had a few more

      1) This is enabled by default
      2) This was enabled by default but i have disabled it so that doors stay locked even when key is removed.

You seem to up our envy quotient every time. Swift petrol to Swift D to Polo that too after all the mods on the vehicle. Any specific reason for the change or is it just the urge to try new stuff?
