Though I haven't personally owned a Honda Shine, I have used it quite extensively and found it to be quite comfortable in city. You cannot go wrong with it.

There is only one cure for grey hair. It was invented by a Frenchman. It is called the Guillotine - PGW
i have ridden any bikes in the last four years - but one of the best I had ridden was the Honda Unicorn. That engine is butter smooth! (I tried cranking an idling bike!)
A closed mouth gathers no feet.
I own Honda unicorn for last 5 years, it is the best for comfort. If you can stretch the budget, go for it or else try TVS wego.
Guys
Thx for all the suggestions. Let me select another Honda dealer and try for a test drive of Unicorn/Shine and will update the thread. Once again thank you guys.

An update: I had sent an E-mail to HMSI regarding my visit to their Showroom. Surprisingly, I have received an reply today requesting my contact details. Eventhough this is not much, atleast th company is reading customer E-mails. Some consolation atleast.
That's very true, I experienced the same with my Dad's Honda Shine bike, in my 20 years of Bike driving experience Honda shine is the only bike where I saw the chain falling down from sprocket and i had to push the bike to nearest garage to get that fitted again. Please note the chain was not loose at all, the sprocket mechanism it self is very bad aligned in that bike. Every alternative week you have to head up to garage to adjust the chain slackness.
We ended up by selling the bike although it was 10 months old
Thanking you

You can give a try to Hero Glamour FI, Post selling the Honda Shine my father got that bike, I driven couple of times, it's really worth of the spending, smooth suspension, well designed seating position, and smooth engine as well and comes below 60 K on road, really worth of buying it. if not have tested please go for a test drive it will not disappoint you.
Thanking you
