Completed 78K KM with Amaze. In last service which I got it done at 75K KM, the bill was 11,000 THB. This is the highest price I paid for Amaze's service since 2015

Below was the work done :

      1. Wiper blade changed
      2. Change brake pad
      3. AC service
      4. Engine oil
      5. Oil filter
      6. Gear oil
      7. Fuel filter
      8. Water tank ring
      9. Filter ring
      10. Engine flushing and treatment

Since language is a challenge here so that's all I could make out with translator.

Amaze is going good. I bought blind spot mirrors this weekend and got it fixed on rear view mirrors today. I will share the feedback.

Got this few days back :

      Trip to Koh Chang

Few weeks back we went to Koh Chang. This is the 3rd largest island after ****et and Samui. Its located around 300 KM east of Bangkok in province "Trat". Combodia border is around 130 KM from Trat.

So we drove to Thammachat Pier (I think its also known as Natural Bay Pier). From Pier, we bought Ferry's tickets for three of us and for our car also. Cost was around 400 THB (including car fee). There is no written schedule of ferries but ferries run every 30 mins.

When we reached at pier there was no ferry and we had to wait. The way cars were lined up, it was amazing to see. You buy the ticket then give ticket at entrance and then the guide will direct you where to park the car to wait for ferry. It was planned nicely and the drivers of cars were also supportive in following the guide's direction, rarely seen in India. Once you lined up, you can keep sitting in car (we did this as my daughter refused to go out) or you can take a walk to buy something to drink/eat.

In 20 mins we saw two ferries coming and then they docked. Once cars came out from each ferry then we were directed to drive onto the ferry and guides directed the car to park in ferry, a quite smooth transition.

Many families preferred to stay in car but we came out and went on the top floor of ferry to see the view, it was amazing. It took around 30 mins to reach Pineapple Bay Pier at Koh Chang. Once reached again a smooth transition from ferry to land.

We started to drive the car to our resort. It was 11 KM from pier, had 2-3 hairpin bends. I did not expect hairpin bends there.

We spent 2 nights there and the stay was wonderful. This island is beautiful with sea at one side and mountains on another side.

While coming back only sour point was we waited for 1 hour to get to the ferry and the queue started from 1 KM or so from the pier.

This place is nice, if anyone is coming for vacation to BKK then try to add Koh Chang in your list. This place may not be as happening as ****et but nice place to spend time with family. If night life is on agenda then drop this place from list

This was my first experience to have car on ferry and then drive on island, it was such a great experience! Roads were nice all through and quite scenic.

With this I have covered places known to me within 300-350 KM of north, south, east and west of BKK.

For me best part at beach was - it was quite, no water sports or anything so it was relaxing. If your kid is fond of collecting shell then its a place for him/her. The beach, where we stayed, had lots and lots of shells and my daughter spent hours collecting them.

My Amaze has covered 858XX KM in 50 months. Its a nice family car with no bells and whistles and it does it job nicely. Now I know why Honda and Toyota are the leaders in most of the countries. Their cars are reliable and are not exorbitantly high to maintain (I know about Amaze, City and Vios hence my comments are reserved for these models).

I got Amaze's tyre changed last year at around 52K KM and I upsized from 175mm to 185mm as I mentioned in one of my posts during that time. After upsized, I did not feel much difference except :

      1. Error in speedometer by around 2-3 KM/Hr . This also I noticed when google map stated to show speed sometime back so I compare the speed showing in map and the one at speedometer hence I am concluding, though this is not the accurate way.
      2. Fuel efficiency has gone done by 1KM/Ltr.

Also I got blind spot mirrors. They are helpful but takes time to get used to.

At the backside of my condo, a new showroom has come up for ECU remap. Now its getting difficult for me to not to think about getting Amaze remapped. I have no idea, will it be good or bad, useful or not, why I want etc, I have no answer as of now but this thought is hitting me again and again.

So out of curiosity, has anyone got ECU remapped for Amaze petrol? In Thailand, ppl have done it and have videos also but all in Thai hence not able to understand.

If any one has any experience, pls share.

Last week got 90K service done. As per service advisor everything is fine except that ball joint stabilizer has got wear and tear. This will be replaced in next service.

Any Amaze owner got it replaced? Mind sharing the cost?

Amaze is doing its job good. 90K and no major work done yet, waiting for 100K !!
