      Fiat Aegea: The new Linea

Just read about the new Linea, revealed at Istanbul.
The car looks drop dead gorgeous to me, and my love for the Linea is back - after Fiat destroyed it with the over-chromed facelift.
However, Fiat have made no indication that this beauty is coming to Bharat Mata anytime soon - quickest we could expect is late '16 or '17

      Details:
Designed in Italy, and developed in Turkey, where Fiat has a significant presence, the Aegea is about 4.5 metres long and 1.78 metres wide.
Gets a new infotainment system named 'UConnect' (which should replace the ageing Blue&Me system)
Will likely be powered by the tried-and-trusted Multijet and T-Jet range of engines. The Multijet may be tuned to put out around 95 horses.

Lots of Jaguar F type design cues - not a bad thing though!

Love the design. Those crimps on the Bonnet & roof looks inspired from Mustang. Nice one from Fiat. IAB says that Fiat India doesn't have this on cards for India in near future. Lets see what Fiat has in cards for India.

As a matter of fact, FIAT doesnt have anything for India in the near future, apart from playing around with engines and adding plastic cladding and hideous graphics

Fiat 500 & Punto + Avventura TJet looks promising. Had it been 5 years back yes I would agree to what you say. Plastic cladding, stickers, floor mats are all now taken over by Maruti !

Punto + Avventura is what I said : Fiat adding cladding to an existing model. And the Tjet is just another engine to an old model

Fiat 500 is exciting. But how much impact it has on the market needs to be seen

Meanwhile, another Fiat special edition : hideous graphics edition for a higher price

No Aegea, but a Avventura without the rear wheel and Aegea front grills is on display as Urban Crossover. Clearly the only thing Fiat has in offer is revised Punto and Linea. Take it or leave it attitude. Jeep has been launched on the brighter side.
