      Welcome to Gearheads,

It may help to know the model of your car, if its a new one or a pre-owned one. Diesel or petrol etc.

It's not how fast you drive.

      1) Drive less is an obvious way.
      2) Optimal gear shift points
      3) Tyres with right pressures
      4) Dead weight in the car.
      5) Time you choose to drive (traffic conditions)
      6) Easy starts, early upshifts
      7) Avoid hard braking and reading the traffic to use brakes less.

A lot of material is lying around. Its a beaten to death topic as well. But one that interests everyone. Happy analysing

One very good tip is to look far ahead so you dont need to brake to slow down.
Defensive driving is the key to save on fuel.
