Ok. May be because they just did EGR and not Intake Manifold & Inter Cooler. I would get a quote from another FNG, before proceeding.

Is the Gear Oil Change labor always extra?? Shouldn't it be part of regular service (Didn't notice while paying).
Similarly for brake pad & Disc & bleeding, they mentioned, labor is charged individually for each

I would IMMEDIATELY swap that oil out if I were you! Not only have I not heard that name/brand of oil, but its also the wrong spec for diesel engines! I would NEVER put SM/CF oil in a common rail diesel engine! (stick with CI4 oils). Google says its part of the AGIP group ...but very little info on the web. Its always best to stick with tried and tested brands. Looks like you went to a local garage (form the pics).

VivekRj.Dieselhead ,I didnt knew that either. Good to know that now. I was a bit reluctant for the engine oil, but anupam's persuasion lead me, to try this oil (He mentioned, its much better than Delvac1, my initial suggestion). Could you comment more about this oil, especially kb100 's comment, that this isnt' suitable for the MJet engine(s).

Yes, got the car serviced outside (World Of Service, Noida). Having many bad experience with Maruti ASS, I dont trust (much) ASS for any brand(s) now. Also, I wanted the service to be done in my presence, ensuring all stated is being carried out (unlike FASS, where one doesnt know, what is being done with car or the stated task are carried out or not).

Regarding oil, I dont have much knowledge and with limited knowledge gathered from forum, I suggest Delvac1. But the i-sint oil was suggested by WOS, being better in performance than Delvac1. Hence gave it a try. If you can guide me to some articles about oils, would be much appreciated

Gearheads already has dedicated thread for engine oil.

Go and look for them and get some knowledge.

Dont have much information on this particular oil. Do know that esseesse has used this oil and infact refilled a 2nd time too. Had given good feedback on performance, but doubt he would be able to help on what it does to the engine internally. To be noted that his Turbo needed replacement between the 1st and 2nd fill of this oil. Could it be cause of the Oil, I cant say. Maybe experts and esseesse can shed light on this.
