The oil is unheard of, but looking at the website, it appears to be a good imported oil from germany.
You have paid too much for this oil, i cant ask you to drain it.. Also, if someone is making spurious oil, he would try to emulate a reputed brand and not an unknown brand like this.
You can use a diesel oil supplement like abro engine oil supplement or cyclo oil treatment etc. It would prevent damage to the engine. These have high zddp content which have exceptional protective power. Keep a check on the oil level, if it is spurious, the level would fall quite fast, change the oil immediately if that happens.

Yes, synthetic oils are in that range. What I was trying to tell you was that I cant ask you to drain the oil, as you have put a lot of money in it.

      I will! Just replace it!

I lost an engine to wrong oil (SM/CF in Common rail diesel) - as have many others! That too with Mobil1 - no less! You'd be surprised how fast a modern engine disintegrates on the wrong oil.

I'm sure. and i'm trying to find more information related to this on web (couldnt find any yet). I want to go back and cross question and get that replaced.
Want to be educated over this, so that cant be (mis) convinced into wrong oil again.

I was hoping VivekRj.Dieselhead, responds to this, but he hasn't. The oil was suggested by them, and I find not even single person supporting it.

You are free to call me for any issues,

I would also like to enlighten you that the Oil is of good quality,

Many members are buying this on request basis,

Cause the company is in corporate tie-up with MFW,

We have been using this brands along with other brands since we started the workshop.

Never faced any issues with any car, be it Skoda, VW, Fiat etc..

Oil is CF rated which is actually OE spec of FIAT oil also.

If FIAT is using CF rated oils then I don't think same rating oil should harm the engine anyhow.

For more details related to our tie-up you can check this link

Isnt CF obselete now, and nothing below CH4 should be used

      http://www.oilspecifications.org/api_eolcs.php

CI-4 -> "These oils are especially effective at sustaining engine durability where Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) and other exhaust emission componentry may be used"
CF -> "Service typical of indirect-injection diesel engines and other diesel engines

      It's not like that,

Many oils which are still in productions are used widely,

If FIAT is using this spec then it's completely fine to use this spec oil.

But still if you wan't some better spec oil, then you can go for that on your next oil change,

We have all kind of good and best performing oils in stock and AGIP is one of them.

WOS is run by enthusiast not businessmen, you must have seen this in our dedication towards working on cars too.

But I must assure you that AGIP is one of the best oils available today in the market.

Agreed to that. That's the reason, I selected you guys, for the very first service of my car (after owning it), rather than taking it to FASS

Sorry but that is sheer bull! May I know what you are basing this on? If that forum is recommending CF rated oils in Diesel engines than permit me to tell you the only thing they are "enthusiastic' about is profits! They have absolutely NO clue about auto lubrication! Its like asking a butcher about brain surgery!

Sorry - but I have to state this UNEQUIVOCALLY -

Petrol engine oils and diesel engine oils ARE DIFFERENT. The engines are two different animals entirely and have completely different lubrication requirements. Diesel specs are always superior.

Just look at this very oil for instance - Though its rated "SN" for petrol engines - the highest classification, its equivalent Diesel rating is a pathetic obsolete CF

      And this oils DIESEL rating.

Like I said earlier - the most widely used Petrol Synthetic oil is Mobil 1.... Its Diesel rating is a similar CF and I can give you an extensive list of diesel engines that have been destroyed thanks to that.

Do not believe everything you read in forums. Do your own research.

Swap that oil out or be prepared to rebuild your engine sooner than later! Every revolution your engine takes is right now accelerating the wear! This is hard fought and paid for experience. Most of us here have experimented extensively with oils/engines etc for over a dozen years or more. I personally have lost an engine to Mobil 1.. and this was when the world was raving about it. A couple of people did warn me, but I chose to listen to the overwhelming majority! And just four months later developed blowby!

Diesel engines - stick to DIESEL SPEC OILS ONLY.
