Goddy - the ballast has got a static output .. and from the snap its clearly 35 watts. The bulb uses only ONE arc - so how is it that they claim they are giving you 55W highs?

Does this mean that the bulbs are only 35W single beam?? No beam switching??

There is only one arc(filament) . The H4 bixenon bulb has a motor in the base of the holder which moves the bulb exposing more of the light thru the aperture giving you a 'high-beam'. The only way this can become dual-wattage is if its overdriven using the Ballast. I have read about a couple being tweaked for higher output - but thats for applications like a strobe etc. I have not come across any manufacturer selling a dual wattage ballast till now. (it may exist - and if it does I 'd like to know more!)

      NO its USELESS

8000K is almost purple - it will give you less visible light than a 35W halogen bulb .. and will give every passing 'Thulla' a hard-on!
