After the success of the Creta, Hyundai India is all set to bring in their yet another successful sedan with major changes. The next-generation Hyundai Elantra will return to the Indian shores on August 23 with all eyes set on the price.

The next-generation Hyundai Elantra is based on the company's all new platform, which will enhance ride quality and the entire experience of driving a premium saloon. The 2016 Hyundai Elantra, which made its debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show this year, comes with updated design and redesigned interiors, giving fresh look to the premium saloon.

According to reports, the 2016 Hyundai Elantra will come with the same 1.6-litre diesel engine producing 138BHP, while instead of the 1.8-L petrol mill, the Elantra will have a bigger 2.0-litre petrol unit that churns out 153BHP. Moreover, to give an added bonus, both the powertrains will come with a six-speed manual and a six-speed automatic transmission.
