.....well well have been struggling to open the wheel lug nuts...no matter how much I was trying to open, it wont move...sprayed WD-40 repeatedly but no good. Finally while cleaning the lug nut I realized it reads "L" on LHS wheel and "R" on RHS wheel....Eureka I could open it, the LHS wheel has clockwise loosening ......HAHAHAH...I may sound dumb but then I really didn't knew this. Finally was able to change the rear left wheel with a better spare wheel, now all four tyres are alike. It looks much better.
For the benefit of those who dodn't know like me posting the pics of lug nuts, sometimes the "L" and "R" are packed with grime and you don't notice them. Make sure the "L" hubs are on the left and the "R" hubs on the right. "Easy way to remember: no matter which side you are on, turn towards the back of Jeep to loosen."

Haha! Glad you found and did not do any damage. Many oldies have such behaviour. The good old FIAT's have the same too!

      Sorry for the late reply....
For the knuckles, pack them with red lithium grease. Lasts longer & works better too. Change the knuckle packing kit while you're at it. The tcase & gearbox can be filled up with 90 grade axle oil, works great.
The brake cylinder replacement kits should be easily available, else you'll need to mod the carrier plate a bit & switch to newer style brake cylinders. Then you can find the parts as long as the Pikups etc are running on the roads.
