More details on the car please? Also, are you running an ECU remap or tune?

      Hi

I am running on a remap, I was forced to have remap locally due to this ill fated emission updated.
Can this adjusting injection work on Remaped Vehicled too? If yes how does it work.

Post adapting injector minimum deviation quantity does not work

I tried using the same procedure but RPM does not rise however i do see coil light blinking on the cluster
Is there a sequence i need to follow while selecting this option in vcds?

      Thanks,
      Jayraj

VW has a service procedure for adjusting injection quantity deviation they have traditionally recommended for fixing morning clatter in these engines, and that seems to work well for this case also.

Here is a sweet and short tutorial on how to fix it with a VCDS cable.

Start engine before start of service procedure. Transmission in neutral, parking brake on.

The sequence is - Open VCDS - select control module - engine (01) - basic settings - adapting injector minimum deviation quantity - Go (start) - after start of procedure, hold accelerator and brake pedal until procedure completion.

      Attachment 227717
      Attachment 227719
      Attachment 227718

After the service procedure starts, the RPM will keep rising to 3000 and other magical things the ECU will make the engine do. At the end you will have a quiet and refined engine. Watch attached screen shots to see how the text changes in the basic settings window.

Please let me know if any of you have questions or need help doing this.

And strongly recommend legal and updated installs of VCDS before you do engine adaptation work.

Here is a short video of what the car does during this service procedure -

RPMs will rise/fall in some time, keep at it longer?

Also, your location? Can see if I can get somebody to help you?
