      Red face A-Star or Estilo

      Hi Friends,

I am Deepak from Bangalore .

I am presently in the process of disposing off my old Maruti 800 (2001 August non-AC).

I am thinking of going for Estilo or A-Star. For both these cars, I am getting an offer of 25,000 + 25,000 (exchange bonus) and 80,000 for my old car (total of Rs.1.3 L)

I did consider Wagon R, but I did not find much difference between Wagon R and Estilo and apart from the height and the new design, not much to differentiate from Estilo.

Estilo Vxi is loaded with lots of features and seems a good buy. But A-Star also looks attractive and I have heard is more fuel efficient. Of course, A-Star has a space problem, but as all of us at home (4 adults + 1kid) are not all that tall, I don't think it should make a difference. Of course, the boot is a problem.

I am a bit confused, whether to go for Estilo or A-Star!

Would welcome advice/suggestions from friends on gearhead

As I mentioned, none of us are tall - do you think the A-Star would be comfortable for 2 adults + 1 kid in the back seat? Reply will be much appreciated

Estilo Vxi is my suggestion. With all the refinements done to Estilo it now looks bigger and bulkier, unlike the old Estilos which resembles like a glorified Auto (IMO)!! Bargain for more discounts, a friend of mine bought Estilo Vxi last month with which he got Door Mats + Mud Flaps + Sun Film + Extended Warranty + the usual bonuses..

      A-Star lacks space and comfortability.

How much was the A*start OTR - carcrazy79? A* is a good car but for deepak's requirement I would suggest estilo Vxi.

      Hmm.. Estillo is good...
As long as its new its good.. but 1 year down the line suspension is bit cranky.. Milage 12 to 14 max..(You might get extra 1 or 2 kms if u driving style is better than mine)..sit comfy is good in the front. But since its a tall boy for long drives ppl sitting in the back would feel a lot of discomfort!! (Due to almost straight seating position) ... Safty wise i would recommend getting an airbag.... it doesnt have a strong body.. if a cycle hits u from behind u are 70% likely to get a dent!!!
