Question Help with my Home Theater system

Finally posting something after a while

So my dad decides to bring a CineImage Smart Home projector and a Rivera Acoustics 5.1 Home Theater system. The projector works fine and is going to be projected onto a 75" screen. The problem is that the speaker system didnt come with any power cables or something like that. The only wire that came was the speaker wires (red and black ones). The other stuff that came was the system itself and wall mounts for speakers. Now the thing is that how do I power this, do I need a AVR? And how to connect to TV/STB/PS3? According to me, I think I need an AVR (correct me if im wrong)

      Home Theater Specs:
      Center Speaker:
      Impedance - 8
      Sensitivity - 85 + 3dB
      Frequency Range: 200-16KHz
      Component Size: 3"

      Subwoofer:
      Impedance - 6
      Sensitivity - 87 + 3dB
      Frequency Range - 35-220Hz
      Component Size 8"

2 Front and 2 Rear Channel Speakers
      Impedance - 8
      Sensitivity: 80 + 3dB
      Frequency Range - 200-16KHz
      Component Size: 3" 2*2

None of my speakers or sub have this at the back making it hard to connect.
My speakers have push-type connectors and nothing else while my sub has bining ones (something like that)

My Home Theater system is rated at 2000W and the subwoofer is 500W while the satellite and center is rated at 1500W (5x300). The system with the connections (last two pics) is a Denmark Audio home theater (not mine).

Is that RMS or PMPO ? I guess it is the later looking at the miniscule satellites..

      No need.

Your CineImage Smart Home projector supports USB 2.0 high speed input. You can plug a pen drive full of movie in this port.
Then your CineImage Smart Home projector also has audio output. Plug appropriate audio input/output cable and connect it to the input of your 2500W Rivera Acoustics 5.1 Home Theater system and enjoy the blasting boom-o-boom.

I guess its barely 15-20W per ch. Look at the low freq. supported by the satellites, 200hz. So the sub is gonna bear all the strain. Its gonna be a hell lot of boomy system.

Now I dont know what to do. I was thinking of getting a AVR as they have the required ports and an AVR with enough grunt could power the system.

+1. Look at the Satellite driver pics. They're paper cones, which would be atleast 2 decades old tech I believe.

They're full range drivers but looking at the drivers, I would take those specs with a pinch of salt.

Nah its crossed at 80hz and fs 45-300 khz. So it should be okish. Not too much strain & all. But yeah it will be boomy

You need RCA cable to connect it to your sources. I can see Audio Input behind your Sub in the 5th pic in your first post. Typical like any other sound system.

That is not my system. That was an example of what was not on my subwoofer. That system is a Denmark Audio Home Theater

This is mine one. My subwoofer only has those connections

You need a amp to power these. You can't directly connect your source to this speaker.

GurpartapBhullar7711 I would suggest return the set if you can and buy something else. Because your cost is gonna be equal to 'standard' systems when you will attempt to start adding other devices to make your system running.

A pair of decent stereo speakers will be better to start with. Later can add the speakers to other channels. And interested in 5.1 ch. setup then you can start with something from Polk, Wharfedale, Pioneer, Jamo etc. which have entry level decent speaker sets with powered subwoofers.
