      XUV 500 Synthetic Oil

      Hi Guys,

Recently got the 40K servicing done for my XUV 500 (W10, AT, FWD, Aug. 2016 mfg). For XUV 500, the recommended engine oil is Maximile Feo. I was wondering if there is an alternative to it, any synthetic oil? Also what is the specification for this Maximile Feo?

Experts, your inputs will be greatly appreciated.

      Thanks.

      Warm regards
      Shri

I think XUV uses the grade - 15w40 API Ch4 as specified grade and api specs.

You can use 15w40 API CJ4 mitasu 100% synthetic for your beast. I have been using from last 40K KMs. And I can say it is one of the best oil I have ever used. If you can stretch your budget then you can go for Royal Purple or Shell Rotella. But the problem with later ones is availability.

So you can reliably go for Mitasu.
