      Clutch set and pressure plates

My Civic's clutch is hard now, no issues in the pickup. Mechanics are saying to go for a clutch overhaul. Which brand should I go for? Is Daikin exedy good? Any other? Please help me with price and where I can get it in Noida/Delhi?

Why change something that is working? Have you topped up with the wrong fluids? Replacing the clutch will not change the pressure of the clutch pedal at all.

You made my day I get the servicing done only at Honda. Really not sure if they topped it up with wrong fluids. What is the recommendations for fluids or restoring the clutch's performance?

Have you lent the car to someone who might have topped up with 'clutch oil' or 'brake oil'? Many people do use the term oil instead of fluid. Try to change the brake fluid in the clutch hydraulic system if you have one. If connected by cable, it might be binding somewhere.
I have driven a car in which the brake fluid was replaced mistakenly with with hydraulic fluid. It was like moving a ton of bricks when operating the clutch and brakes.
Ask the shop to change the fluid and see if it helps.
As the clutch wears, the pedal gets softer if the spring weakens and not harder. I think the mechanics are guessing or trying to scam you.

funny thing I faced the same issue 8 years ago with my then- brand new City and the service centre changed the clutch after I informed Honda HQ via email and mentioned they saw this exact issue in Civics at the time, something to do with the hydraulic clutch

The clutch was smooth but the judder was very minor but prevalent in 1st gear
