Water seeping into wheelwell of my figo - urgent help needed to trace the source

Just noticing water seeping in into the wheelwell of my figo.

Suspecting a leak coming from bumpers side as all fabric seen above the spare wheel etc is dry.

Tried to see if any bushes missing, but nothing visible. Everything looks normal to me except the pool of water inside the wheelwell.

Couple of times i had to do boating through Bangalore's road pools, which comes up abruptly with a rain. 2 weeks before my car passed through the largest pool of current season, but waterlevel was till bumperlevel only. Suspecting that resulted in the seepage.

How to identify the source of leakage?
      Any help highly appreciated?

Car never underwent any major accidents yet. Only couple of slight bumps happened in rear bumpers from some careless bikers. Bumpers not broken anywhere, still suspecting a leakage from bumpers fittings only.

Looks like i have to take it to fass.

Did same preassure wash again today. No water seepage happened.

So it looks like it entered while i drove through some of the rainwater pools.. Source of leak still to find.

Have you checked the cable from the rear light into the boot?

What if this is totally unrelated and nothing to do with the floods/pressure wash and if there is no leak as such. Did you carry any liquids in the boot, which might have spilt over and since there is no way for it to go out, stuck at the bottom most part of the boot - the stepney wheel well.

No, need to check..into the lights i think the cable is passing through a rubber channel at the top of boot lid. Seems its not going into the boot. The leakage seems coming from somewhere below the tail lights etc as the fabrics above are seen dry. Suspecting the bumper area.

Its not like that. For sure its water from outside. I never carried any liquids in the boot apart from some windscene cleaning and carwash which is still intact. No spillage from them.

I got my car checked in jsp ford in banargatta road, today. So here is the inference, No Water Seepage due to a defect.

So how it got entered? Suspecting the carwash guys who did preassure wash with the hatch half closed.

How we checked. Me and the service engineer got inside the car and the boys started preassure washing all possible places on the hatch area and below the bumper and into the wheelwells. Not a single drop entered inside.

Thanks to jsp ford for thoroughly checking the car understanding the issue.

According to the SE chances of entering water are there if the bodyshop guys forgets to put sealants properly after any bodyworks due to accidents.

Another chance is misplaced beadings running around the hatch. Another is the rubber bushes behind the taillamps. Need to remove tail lamps and check that. In my cars case that was also intact.

So closing the case for the time being. Fingers crossed till my car again does the boating.Wont be so far as bangalore gives lots of boating oppertunities.

Some photos attached, jsp guys removed the side panel, rear seat etc and checked.
