Artificial intelligence is no match for human stupidity.

Technology is no match to careless driving.

In India we don't have the resources to train the vast majority of drivers. People drive by instinct. The problem is driving is not a natural activity. It's not like walking, it's more like swimming.
It takes 2-3 months of training to become a half decent swimmer. It should take 2-3 months of training to become a half decent driver.

Some people never spend more than 1 month of training in swimming. So they can't swim for more than ten meters and would probably drown in a pool.

Same thing with driving. In the absence of skills, they have to depend upon the kindness of strangers. Some panic and drive fast so that people know they don't know driving and hopefully they will get out of the road.

The latest technology are moreover on the bluelink or car connected apps and these will not save from car accidents, rather more distraction.Yes, ABS with EBD scores 100%, thank god govt has considered it as a mandate on all the cars

The latest technology like tire pressure monitoring system(already in mahindra), driver health conditions :- Buzzer on blink of eye for more than 2 secs, driving lane sensors on the roads and somehow correlated with your steering wheel automatically, predictive maintenance for all the car 'drive train' components and at last something which cant be implemented on the humans rather train/educate on the driving skills.

In India we don't have the latest tech anyway. There is no automatic braking. No radar at all. No front and rear pedestrian collision avoidance systems No blind spot camera. No remote start for hot summer days.

In short we have to depend upon luck and the lemon. Add chilli for extra luck.
