Santro Xing creaking at low speeds

I'm hearing a very weird (creaking?) noise in my '04 Santro. The sound can be heard when I'm turning the steering at a very slow speed. Keep in mind that mine's a manual steering. I was initially fine with most rattles that have cropped up in my car but this time it's just too noisy. Initially I thought I had a suspension issue, but now I'm not too sure, because I hear the sound when I'm driving the car with all windows rolled up, and a person standing outside the car can't hear it. This makes me feel like something in the interior is producing the creaking sounds. The noise isn't there when I'm cruising at speeds above 20 or turning the steering at those speeds. I'm attaching a video for reference.

Please advise me on what to do. I'm wary of going to my (not so) FNG, who I'm sure will point out a problem in the suspension even if it isn't. Of course, if it's a suspension issue then I'll get that specific part replaced, but just wanted to be doubly sure.

      Thanks in advance!

I sold my '03 Santro just four days back. And it had the EXACT same noise. Your power steering belt needs to be replaced.

Hi, like I've mentioned in my original post, my car has a manual steering.

      Regards.

Cars usually have greasing nipples on Suspension Parts and steering components. Its often a 100 bucks job to get them greased.

Sounds like seized or dry bearings on top of the McPherson mounts.

Mount bearings? Sorry, I googled and I still can't understand what those are. If you're referring to wheel bearings, I got both the front bearings replaced at the last service a couple of months ago.

Power steering or not, I believe every type would have a belt connecting it. Get the belt replaced.

On the top of the shock absorbers in front. You will see one on each side under the bonnet. Should look something like this. What is the mileage?

I see. Thanks! Will get those checked too.

A little below 94100 kms as of today.

The car's pre-owned, and although the previous owner took good care of it, the service history isn't documented so I have no way of knowing when various parts were changed. I try to follow the service schedules and also get parts replaced/repaired as and when issues crop up.
