some idiots who do not understand the passion for car ownership, try to steel these blind spot mirrors along with HONDA H logo, they simply slice it and take it away.

so do not park your vehicle in unattended or unsecured open spaces, for night or for long hours.

I definitely suggest you a Dash camera for recording the events in the front. get a good one with good resolution, do not get one which has built in battery, it tend to get damaged due to heat and spikes from car battery, please get it permanently fixed with ease of removing the memory card as necessary. Buy a high capacity hard disk just to store these drive videos. do not use that HDD for any other purpose.

Stick to HONDA regime through the warrantee, you won't need any suggestions from anybody else.

There is a HONDA CITY user manual which prescribes certain schedules, intervals, service needs, jobs to be done etc. please religiously follow that. do not let service advisor deviate an inch or millimeter from that. if the car needs something changed, it would be already mentioned in the service schedule, if it is not mentioned, then it is not needed, do not over pamper the the vehicle, e.g. kid needs a transport to the school, it does not need to be dropped and picked up in a mercedes benz even though it is safer for the kid for sure, the kid can walk to nearest bus stop, board the bus and be with rest of the kids and return the same way back.

there is zero value in preserving the milage of the car for ensuring resale value. please drive it as it is supposed to be driven. if RPM gauge shows 7000 RPMs on the dial, it is for the reason, the engine can reach that RPM, please occasionally drive it at that RPM, If you don't do it, then it is like building the strength, muscles and never doing any physical work and just posing for pictures.

Gears are there to be changed. please downshift while going up the fly overs, while in the jam or congestion, being in the higher gears does not give better economy. please downshift, accelerate and let engine roar, that is the healthy way to let engine breathe. same, while breaking, do engine breaking, downshift and let engine break the speed first and then breaks do the job. by not downshifting and upshifting, you are not enhancing the life of the gearbox. it does not add to re-sale value of the car

there are many such cases where one can extract the joy of the vehicle ownership, driving and maintaining, if you remove all those and use it only in a "fuel efficient way" or "maruti way" or a "beater car way" then one does not need a Honda, definitely.

Wow, excellent, 5 years is 33% of life of the car, good to keep the car under warrantee for that long. it reflects from the product quality, durability and performance. it also helps honda enhance their service revenues.
