      Beer @ Gujarat

This should probably be merged with Gir Post, if you are on long stay in Gujarat and miss your Beer or Whiskey, GateWay Hotel at Gir has liquor shop. You need to give two ID cards for proof (that you do not live in GJ) and get a license on spot and can buy liquor.

Went back and read through the earlier posts and am simply dumbfounded at the detail and level of expertise in doing various bits. Great work and an inspiration.

      Walking while driving

I was wearing honor band during the GJ drive, it records use of brake and clutch as walking

      Some Data
      • On full day drives, it recorded around 10k - 12k steps.
      • Steps were at least 1K more to Davangere vs to Vapi.
      • You can say bad road means more walking.
      • Heart beat increased with traffic or speeds.

I have compressed lot of information in assembly posts, when someone actually uses this information they will know, even pics after page 8 is merged 3:1 to keep volume down.

Awesome. And as expected. Does it count speedbreakers too?

      Car Wash

Continuing on recent car wash posts, here is an update about Worx Hydroshot WG630E which I have been using from past few months. I have been using Li-ion based tools for long time and know they work really well, this was obvious addition.

      Features
      • Extremely portable and easy to use.
      • Enough pressure for regular car wash jobs with easily switchable spray patterns.
      • Foam lance in the kit is compact and works OK.
      • Comes with Coke bottle adapter as standard, good for quick windshield or cycle wash.
      • Unlimited attachment options, most of quick release attachments can be used.
      • Fits in 1.5 x 1 x 1 feet bag, you can take it in car and do foam wash anywhere (may be next to canal or river )
      • If you own Karcher or Bosch you know its pain to get these out, setup, get it running and put back.
      • Default 2AH battery lasts one wash and takes about 30 min to charge.
      • I got 3D printed Bosch-2-Wrox adapter so that I can use my existing 6AH Bosch batteries, these last about 4 washes and good for road trips.

Sample Video Below one is older model (not brush-less motor)

You need to get it from US or HK, make sure to choose brush-less motor model WG630E (older WG629 has normal motor).

Safety During a pilot phase, first occupant simulations were performed to improve safety. Dummies were replaced by mathematical multi-body systems. First crash calculations followed with full vehicle models of the then Mercedes-Benz E-Class

Some main innovations of the W124 series were related to occupant safety. Derived from the Mercedes W201, with which the W124 shares the basic layout, its similarly angular body was designed to withstand an offset-crash in a concrete barrier at some 35 mph (56 km/h) without serious harm to the occupants and a largely undamaged passenger cabin, a windshield that stays in place and doors easily opened without special recovery tools. This crash-test configuration became the base for the Euro-NCAP procedure currently being the standard crash-test configuration in the EU. Unlike Euro-NCAP, Mercedes required the body of the W124 to withstand an offset impact from the front and from the rear.
